A - “A woman without her man is nothing.” is already a grammatically correct statement that expresses a sentiment like the one that supposedly all the males wrote.
B - I can appreciate this a point of ‘oh look what punctuation can do’ but this still annoys me because I hate the underlying message here of ‘all men are arrogant misogynists, all woman are ultra-feminists who think they’re better than men and women are really under-appreciated by aforementioned misogynists.’
Because of course every male in the class would try to turn it into a patriarchal statement, and every female would want it to be a more ‘girl-power’ thing.
Goodness knows there’s never been a guy who supports women’s rights or a girl who thought men might be superior.
And, more importantly, everyone one knows that you must believe that one of the two genders is overall better than the other. Usually it’s your own gender that’s obviously the best.
